Summer most certainly has arrived. The afternoons have been spent lazily poolside; getting up only to take a cool dip before returning to lounging. My mornings have been spent in the kitchen before the day really heats up. I have been enjoying making jams and treats from the fresh fruits of summer. Yesterday I was out early picking roses; harvesting the petals for Rhubarb Rose Petal jam. This morning it was a fresh Rhubard-Berry Salsa. Tomorrow it will be more Strawberry Margarita jam and once the peaches are really ripe, Chipotle Peach Jam. So many jars of jams and treats. I can’t possible eat them all myself!
